Ting Tang wins support from Theo Paphitis

We are so excited to announce that Theo Paphitis hand-picked us to join his Small Business Sunday initiative, which he established in 2010 to support small businesses in the UK. Probably best known from his appearance in the Dragon’s Den on the BBC, Theo retweeted our message to his nearly 500k followers providing us with the most brilliant boost!

Things were a bit of a flurry with a flood of orders for our Dry Wash Shampoo and our refill packs have sold out. We’ve been profiled on the #SBS website which is exclusive to all Small Business Sunday winners.

Small business champion and Ryman Stationery, Robert Dyas and Boux Avenue Chairman, Theo Paphitis, said:

We are thrilled to welcome new #SBS members and highlight just how important it is to support our small businesses here in the UK.  My vision is that everyone who has ever won an #SBS re-tweet from me becomes part of a friendly club; like-minded individuals who can share successes and learnings.  The website will also give a valuable profile to the winners chosen and I wish Purdey and TingTang every success.

Purdey added,

Founder, Purdey Collier with her daughter, the inspiration behind the brand

It is amazing to have support from Theo because he has recognised the hard work that’s gone into creating TingTang and has spread the word about what we do to his followers.

TingTang is a dry shampoo that actually cleans, no water needed.  Our core customers are those who find traditional bathing a challenge, who suffer from chronic illness or disability, busy mums and their Tots. I’m elated to have helped so many.

Thank you so much for your support Theo!
